Ingredients
- 1 Cup Carrots, diced or shredded
- 1 Cup Celery, chopped
- 3 Cups Potatoes, diced or shredded
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Tbs. Chicken Base
- 1 1/3 Cups Water
- 1 Quart Chicken Broth
- 5 Tbs. Butter
- 2/3 Cup Flour
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta Cheese
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1/2 Cup Onion, chopped

Step 1
Cook first 8 ingredients together until vegetables are tender, but not too soft. Melt butter in another saucepan; add flour and brown a little. Slowly add milk and cook until thick. Add cheese; stir until melted. Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onions. Now mix all three together (vegetables, ground, beef and cheese sauce). Heat a little, if needed. Yield: approximately 3 quarts.
