Blender Pecan Pie

This is from a very old pie book. Original recipe says it is the easiest pie to make and is a good freezer.

Ingredients
- Unbaked 8 " pie shell
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 12 pecan halves

Preparation
Step 1
* Put eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter and vanilla in blender bowl and blend well.
* Add 1 cup pecans and blend just enough to chop nuts coarsely.
* Pour into pie shell. place pecan halves on top.
* bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until top is lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
