Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tea. baking powder
- 1 tea. grated orange peel
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/2 tea. baking soda
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1 cup (8 oz) plain yogurt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cups dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk to flour, brown sugar, baking powder, orange peel, salt and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In another bowl, whisk yogurt and egg yolk; stir into crumb mixture just until moistened. Stir in dried cranberries and chocolate chips.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead gently 10 times. Pat dough into an 8" circle. Cut into 12 wedges. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Freeze cooled scones in zip-lock bags. To use, thaw at room temp. If desired, heat 20-30 secs. in microwave or until heated through.
