Snicker Bars

Ingredients

  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 2 T shortening
  • 14 oz caramels
  • 5 T butter
  • 1 c chopped peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Using a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and shortening. Spread half in 8 x 8 foil lined pan. Chill.

Melt caramels and butter in microwave at 50% power. Stir for a while to mix in butter. Mix in peanuts and spread on top of chocolate chips. Chill 15 minutes.

Top with remaining chocolate chips
