Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons bakein powder
  • 3 whole egg yolks -- beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 pound margarine
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large pineapple crushed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Step 1

sift flour, baking powder and salt into bowl, work in the margarine as for pie dough, add to eggs. mix into first mixture and knead until dough is smooth. take about 2/3 of dough and roll out on a floured board. place in large pan 15x11x2. top with this mixture

combine and cook until thick. cool, spread on dough. roll out rest of dough, cut into 1 inch strips. press ends into sides of dough in pan, criss-cross fashion. bake 30 min at 350
cut in squares while warm.
