Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1 oz. red food coloring
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups wesson oil
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 2 eggs

Step 1
Mix dry ingredients together, then add remaining ingredients. Divide into 3 or 4 round cake pans and cook on 350 degrees about 10 minutes until firm.
Icing
1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick unsalted butter (softened)
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Mix sugar, butter, and cream cheese together with blender. Add vanilla and fold in pecans.
