Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (I use 1/2-3/4 cup mini chips)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour a 9x5 loaf pan.

Mash bananas in a large bowl, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into pan and bake for one hour.

Note: Nuts may be added to the batter. You can also use this batter to make muffins, decreasing the baking time.
