Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup flax meal
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 cup molasses
- 3 TBL Oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 300 degrees.
Mix oats, almonds, walnuts, and flax meal in one bowl.
Mix all remaining ingredients in a second bowl.
Combine the two until the sugars coat all the oats.
Spread granola onto a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Stir ingredients, then return to oven for 15 more minutes. If you over bake it, it will taste burned.. So watch it carefully. It's OK to be dark, and it will get dark because of the molasses.
Take out and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.
