Mixed Up Popcorn

Ingredients
- 6 cups popped corn ( 1 – 3.3 oz. bag of microwave popcorn will make more than is needed)
- 3 cups bite size rice cereal squares
- 2 cups Cheerios
- 1 1/2 cups salted nuts
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl mix popped corn, cereal, cheerios, nuts, and pecan halves.
Over medium heat in a medium sized heavy saucepan bring to a boil brown sugar, butter, and light corn syrup stirring constantly. This will take about 15 minutes.
Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.
Pour over the popcorn and cereal mixture. Stir gently.
Pour into a jelly roll pan. ( I used two rimmed baking sheets lined with parchment paper)
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
Cool completely before storing in a tightly covered container.
