Ingredients

  • 6

cups popped corn ( 1 – 3.3 oz. bag of microwave popcorn will make more than is needed)

  • 3

cups bite size rice cereal squares

  • 2

    cups Cheerios

  • 1 1/2

    cups salted nuts

  • 1

    cup pecan halves

  • 1

    cup brown sugar

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 1/4

    cup light corn syrup

  • 1/4

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla

Directions

In a large bowl mix popped corn, cereal, cheerios, nuts, and pecan halves. Over medium heat in a medium sized heavy saucepan bring to a boil brown sugar, butter, and light corn syrup stirring constantly. This will take about 15 minutes. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Pour over the popcorn and cereal mixture. Stir gently. Pour into a jelly roll pan. ( I used two rimmed baking sheets lined with parchment paper) Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Cool completely before storing in a tightly covered container. Enjoy!
