Buffalo Hot Wings
This recipe came from a friend from Buffalo NY, back in the 80's. Simple ingredients are the best, I used Alton Brown's idea of steaming the wings, it helps make the wings crispy from the oven! Everyone that has tried these say they are the best! (The bowl in the photo is empty because we just finished 30 wings.)
- 1 Lb cut-up Chicken Wings
- 1/2 Cup Franks Hot Sauce
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp Celery Seed
Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 55mins
Pre-heat oven at 425 deg.
Steam Wings in Vege. Steamer for 12 min.
Put on paper towels and let cool
Place on rack on top of a baking sheet and bake 20 min.

in the mean time melt butter in large fry pan,
Add Frank's, garlic and celery seed
When Wings are done toss into the sauce, plate and serve with Marie's Blue Cheese , Carrots and Celery sticks
