Baked sweet and spicy chicken wings
- 1 T brown sugar
- 2 t onion powder
- 2 t garlic powder
- 2 t paprika
- 2 t salt-pepper to taste
- 1 t cumin
- 1 t cayenne
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- 2 lbs chicken wings--separated
- 1 T canola oil
1. Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl. Place all of the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag. Sprinkle the rub over the wings and drizzle the canola oil over top. Seal the bag and toss to coat. Allow to marinate in fridge for 30 min. to overnight.
2. When ready to bake Preheat oven to 425. Line the inside of a broiler pan with foil (to catch the drippings).
3. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes turning them 1/2 way through for even browning.
