Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- dash of salt and pepper
- grated mozzarella
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in 9 X 13 baking dish at 400 degrees
Combine crumbs, parm, salt and pepper
Pound chicken breasts until 1/4 in thick
Dip in egg and then crumb mixture
Place on baking dish @ 400 for 10 min
Turn chicken and bake another 10 min or until meat is tender.
Combine sauce and heat until boiling and cover over meat.
Top with cheese and return to oven to melt.
