Olive You, Olive Tapenade

Serve on a crusty baguette with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes for a loving sandwich, or as an appealing appetizer with a loaf of bread (set out alongside a dish of balsamic vinegar and olive oil topped with oregano and parsley).

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted Kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh or dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop all the ingredients and toss together.

For a smoother spread, use a hand blender or upright blender and pulse all the ingredients until smooth.
