Pumpkin Pie Squares (Susan Brown)

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • Box yellow cake mix, less 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1 egg
  • large can Libby pumpkin pie mix (3 cups)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup Milnot
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup cake mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soft margarine
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Combine yellow cake mix, less 1 cup, 1/2 cup melted margarine, 1 egg and press into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Mix together large can of Libby pumpkin pie mix, 2 eggs, 2/3 cup Milnot and pour over crust. Mix together 1 cup cake mix, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup soft margarine, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes. Serve warm with whipped topping.
