Crockpot Ham & Cheese Sliders

NOTE: Can use any kind of meat you want - sliced turkey, chicken, roast beef, hot dogs (cut in half & then half again), pre-made meatballs, or any leftover meats you have in fridge (I would shred it as in the case of leftover chicken or cut in half to make them thinner pieces for heating thru). Also, if doing leftover meats, layer it with cheese/leftover meat/cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 pkg pre-sliced ham (cut the stack in half and then in half again making
  • quarter size pieces)or other meat of choice
  • 1 pkg pre-sliced cheese (can use any cheese)(cut each slice in half)
  • Softened butter
  • Optional: Use sauces such as spaghetti or pizza sauce with meatballs, bbq sauce with leftover chicken or leftover shredded beef or pork roast

Preparation

Step 1

Slice rolls in half to make "buns". Butter the inside of the top half of each bun. Layer one small slice of ham, half a slide of cheese, another slice of ham on each bun. Place or stack in crockpot. Heat on low for 30 - 45 minutes or until cheese is gooey and warm.
