Hot Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breasts, cut in big chunks
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1-8 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1-8oz. package herb seasoned stuffing mix

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except stuffing mix. Place in a 9-13 inch casserole and cover with stuffing mix. Bake 30 minutes until hot. Do not over bake, it should remain crunchy.
