Swedish Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Pecans
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt (optional)
  • 1 stick of butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat ovent to 350 degrees. Roast pecans for 8 min.

Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt - add to stiffly beaten egg whites. Stir in pecans.

Melt 1 stick butter on cookie sheet. Add pecans to cookie sheet. Bake for 30 min, turning nuts 3 times.

Store in tight container.
