Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp ground ancho chile pepper or mild chile pepper
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- Favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup, etc.)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the grill to medium-high. Mix the ground beef, cheese, ancho chile, lemon zest, garlic powder, and onion powder together in medium bowl. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and form each into a burger patty that is 1 inch thick. Grill the burgers, clipping once, to the desired doneness. Place the burger patties on hamburgers and add your favorite burger toppings.
