Highland Scones

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 c flour
  • 2 t cream of tartar
  • 1 t baking soda (can sub. 3 t baking powder for tartar and soda)
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 c raisans (cover in hot water for 5 min)
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 egg in 1 cup then fill with milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all until dough leaves the bowl clean. Cut dough in four pieces then cut each inot 4 making 16.

Bake 400 convection for 10 min
450 at reg for 15.
