Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms or 1 can
- 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/8 tsp dry mustard
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Preparation
Step 1
Cook cauliflower unil tender, drain. Saute mushrooms and celery in 1/4 cup butter. Blend in salt, flour and mustard. Gradually stir in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Add cheese. Stir until melted. Put cauliflower in buttered casserole dish and pour sauce over the top. Combine crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle mixture over the casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
