Spiced Cider

Use a perculator or a spice bag.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon apple juice
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 1/2 c orange juice
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 8 whole all spice
  • 4 - 1 inch cinnamon sticks
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Place liquid ingredients in coffee pot. Place remaining ingredients in top of perculator. Simmer at least 20 minutes or allow to perk. Remove spices and garnish with an orange slice.
