Pasta with Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 t dried red pepper flakes
  • 2-3 dashes hot sauce
  • 1/4 c EVOO
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 in pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 t fresh ground pepper
  • 1/4 c shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb mostaccioli or elbow macaroni, cooked & drained

Step 1

In skillet, cook garlic red pepper flakes & hot pepper sauce in oil & butter for 2-3 min. Add asparagus, salt & pepper; sauté until asparagus is crisp tender, 8-10 min. Add Parmesan cheese; mix well. Pour over hot pasta & toss to coat. Serve immediately.
