Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 6 tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 tbs unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbs grated lemon zest
Preparation
Step 1
In one bowl mix dry ingredients, in another beat egg whites to soft peaks, in another mix wet ingredients. Mix wet into dry and gently fold in egg whites. Cook until golden. Serve with raspberries and creme fraiche or your favorite raspberry sauce.
