Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 cups crushed butter flavored crackers (about 45-50)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 lbs walleye fillets
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- Lemon wedges and minced fresh parsley, optional
Preparation
Step 1
In a shallow bowl, beat eg; add honey. In another bowl, combine crackers and salt. Dip fish in egg mixture, then dip in crackers, turning until coated. In a skillet, cook fish in oil over medium heat 3-5 minutes per side or until golden and fish flakes easily with fork. Top with parsley and serve with lemon, if desired.
