  • TOPPING:
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1/2 TSP cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • MUFFINS:
  • 1 1/3 C flour
  • 1 C whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 TBSP baking powder
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1/2 TSP salt
  • 1/3 C butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 C milk
  • 1/2 C raisins

Preparation

Step 1

TOPPING:
mix flour, sugar and cinnamon is a small bowl. Cut in butter. Set aside.

MUFFINS:
Mix flours, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and slat in bowl together. Cut in butter. Mix in the eggs and milk until smooth. Stir in raisins. Spoon into muffins tins using about 1/3 C batter for each. Sprinkle each with about 1 TBSP of topping. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until firm to the touch.
