Ingredients

  • 1

    lb. lump crabmeat

  • ½

    red bell pepper, chopped finely

  • 1

    cup light mayonnaise

  • cup Dijon mustard

  • 1

    T. lemon juice

  • ½

    pkg Old Bay Classic Crab Cake Seasoning

  • ¼

    cup minced shallot

  • lb. peeled shrimp, chopped finely

  • ½

    cup cracker meal

  • ¼

    lime, juiced

  • 2

    T. olive oil, 1 T. butter (for 6 cakes)

Directions

Mix mayo, mustard, lemon juice & lime juice together in small bowl; stir well. Mix crabmeat, red pepper, crab cake seasoning, shallot, shrimp and cracker meal together in another bowl; stir well. Add mayo mixture to crabmeat, folding in lightly. Shape into 12 cakes. Heat 2 T. olive oil and 1 T. butter in skillet on med-high heat (4-5 on electric stovetop). Fry crab cakes until brown on both sides. (Repeat with extra oil & butter for other 6 cakes) FABULOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS!!!!
