  • 1 recipe Sweet Dough
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Divide Sweet Dough in half. Roll out each half into an oblong about 14 x 9 inches. Brush lightly with melted margarine or butter.

2. Sprinkle each oblong with one-half mixture of sugar, cinnamon , and raisins. Roll up as for jelly roll and make roll 9 inches long. Seal edges firmly.

3. Cut into 9 equal pieces. Places cut side up about 1 inch apart in greased 9-inch layer cake pan or square pan 8x x 2 inches. Cover. Let rise in warm place, free from draft, until double in bulk, about 1 hour. Bake in moderate oven (350 degree F. about 35 minutes. Ice top with plain icing.
