Feather Dumplings

Delicious dumplings, light as a feather, perfect for stews.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 egg (well beaten)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together well. Drop spoonfuls of mixture into stew or soup and cover the pot to cook them for 5-10 minutes or until cooked through.
