Rolled Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 T Baking Powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold
  • 1/2 c water

Step 1

Mix Flour, baking powder, and salt. Using Food Processor, pastry blender, or 2 knives, cut in the butter until it's the size of very small peas and distributed throughout the dry ingredients. Add the water and knead 8-10 times. If the dough seems too sticky add a little more flour. Roll the dough out to 1/8" thickness and cut into 1" square. Bring broth to a boil and drop in dumplings. Reduce Heat and cover. Cook 10 minutes or until tender. Over cooking may cause the dumplings to fall apart.
