Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 lb Hamburger
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1 Tbls Basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 - 1lb Can Tomatoes
- 2 - 6 oz Cans Tomatoe Paste
- 1 C. Water
- Cheese Mixture:
- 1/2 C. Parmesean Cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tbls Parsley
- 3 C. Ricotta Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 Lb Mozzarella - Grated
Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat slowly - Spoon off fat. Add Garlic, Basil, Salt, Tomatoes, Tomato Paste and Water in a sauce pan. Simmer covered for 15 minutes. Stir Often
Cook Noodles in water.
Beat Eggs, add rest of cheese spread ingredients.
Place a small bit of sauce in bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Layer !/2 the noodles, spread 1/2 the ricotta mix on the noodles. Spread a layer of Mozzarella, then layer 1/2 the meat mixture. Repeat
Note: I do a total of 3 layers of noodles.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (if made earlier, and kept in refridgerateor, bake for 45 minutes)
Let stand about 10 meinutes before serving
