FRESH APPLE CAKE/CARAMEL GLAZE

Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • 1/4 cinnamon and sugar mixture
  • 4 apples, chopped small
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • GLAZE:
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packeden to 350
  • 2 TBSP milk

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bundt pan and coat with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Mix apples, eggs and oil. Add flour, sugar, soda and cinnamon and mix well. Pour into pan and bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cake rest 10 minutes and invert on plate.

Prepare glaze-combine butter, sugar and milk. Bring to boil and cook 1 minute. Spoon over cake. Let cool before serving. Can add 1 cup nuts.
