Ingredients
- 5 c shredded cabbage
- 4 slices diced bacon
- 2 Tblsp brown sugar
- 2 Tblsp flour
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Cook cabbage in boiling salt water for 7 minutes. Fry bacon, remove. Add sugar and flour to bacon fat,, blend. Add water, vinegar and seasoning. Cook until thick. Add onion, diced bacon and heat thoroughly. Serve.
