Ingredients

  • 1 lb crumbled sweet Italian sausage, cooked
  • Pasta Shells, cooked as directed on pkg & set aside while mixing filling
  • FILLING
  • 12 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
  • 12 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T chopped parsley
  • 3 oz chopped fresh baby spinach
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1 t coarse ground pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 29 oz tomato sauce
  • 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes with sauce
  • 3/4 c pinot Grigio wine
  • 2 T basil
  • 2 T oregano
  • 2 t garlic, minced
  • 1 t sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Combine ingredients for sauce in lg pan & cook over med heat for 20 min.

Fill cooked shells with the stuffing & place in 9x13 baking dish. Cover with sauce. Cover & bake 30 min.
