Chocolate Caramel Swirl Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-serving) package chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1 (9-inch) chocolate graham cracker pie crust
  • 4 tablespoon caramel-flavored topping, divided

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese 2 to 3 minutes, or until creamy. Slowly add pudding mix and milk and continue beating until smooth. Add 2 cups whipped topping and stir until well blended. Spoon into pie crust.

Drizzle with 3 tablespoons caramel topping and use a knife to swirl it into the cream cheese mixture. Completely cover top of pie with remaining whipped topping. Drizzle with remaining caramel topping and freeze for 15 minutes. Serve, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Note:
You can easily turn this into a turtle pie by stirring some chopped walnuts or pecans into the pudding mixture.
