Ingredients
- 3 T vegetable oil
- 3 T chili powder (divided) (spice from bulk area at Marsh)
- 4 Cans Pinto beans
- 2.2 lbs ground beef
- 1 Can tomato paste
- 2 cans red gold basil, oregano and garlic tomatoes
- 1 can (16 oz) whole peeled tomatoes converted to sauce in food processor
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 5 onions diced

Preparation
Step 1
1. Saute chili powder in oil for 30 seconds to 1 minute over 7 to 8 high heat.
2. Add onions and cook for 4 minutes.
3. Add beef and cook for 4 minutes until done.
4. Add tomato paste and canned tomatoes.
5. Add beans.
6. Add tomato sauce and salt and garlic powder and simmer over low for as long as you can.
