Ingredients
- 1 package (16 ounces) dried split peas, rinsed
- 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
- 1 + cups diced/chopped carrots
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups water
- 1 carton (32 oz.) reduced-sodium chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until vegetables are tender. Yield: 8 servings.
