Preparation

Step 1

Buy store brand pork sausage, cook & be sure to drain well. You may use the ham that comes in a package, like Dak, you don't have to get the expensive brands. Also, you can use leftover ham. Do not add salt as the cheese provides plenty. After you get everything ground or grated (food processor) and the loaves made.... the slow & time-consuming part is the baking. Roll thawed bread 1/4" thick (12" x 18"). Spread with butter. Mix all ingredients, you may want to use your hands. All fillings should be chopped or grated (food processor). Season with onion and garlic powder. Fold over ends & sides, secure with toothpicks. Seal well before baking. Loaf sould be approximately 06" x 18". Bake at 350 degrees until brown (approximately 30 minutes). Makes 6 loaves. Seal in foil & freeze until ready to serve. Then, thaw and warm in oven (300 degrees for 30 minutes).
