Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, plus thin lemon slices for garnish
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skinned
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, honey and garlic. Pour the marinade into a nonreactive glass dish. Add the salmon and turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Preheat the broiler, placing the grate about 4 to 6 inches under the flame.
Oil a sheet pan and place the salmon on the pan, skinned-side down, under the broiler. Reserve the marinade. Broil for about 8 minutes or until just cooked through.
Pour the marinade into a small nonstick saute pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce for one minute then set aside.
Drizzle with reduced sauce, garnish with lemon slices and serve.
