- 1 CUP SOFT BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 2 3/4 CUP SUGAR,DIVIDED
- 2 TEAS. VANILLA
- 4 EGGS
- 3 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 TEAS. BAKING POWDER
- 1 TEAS. BAKING SODA
- 1 TEAS. SALT
- 2 CUPS SOUR CREAM
- 2 TBSP. CINNAMON
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS

Step 1
IN LARGE BOWL, CREAM BUTTER & "2" CUPS OF SUGAR
UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD VANILLA. ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME, BEATING WELL
AFTER EACH ADDITION. COMBINE FLOUR,POWDER,SODA & SALT, ADD ALTERNATELY
WITH SOUR CREAM, BEATING JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP BATTER SMOOTH.
SPOON 1/3 OF BATTER INTO GREASED 10 INCH TUBE PAN.
COMBINE CINNAMON,NUTS & REMAINING SUGAR,SPRINKLE 1/3 OVER BATTER IN PAN.
REPEAT LAYERS TWO MORE TIMES.
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 70 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE TESTS DONE.
COOL 10 MINUTES & REMOVE FROM PAN TO WIRE RACK TO COOL.
