SHRIMP Cajun Barbecued Shrimp Fest

Ingredients

  • 2 LBS Shrim, headed but left in shells
  • 1/2 lb melted butter
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 TBSP chopped parsley
  • 3/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 TBSP black pepper
  • 2 TBSP Tabasco sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Wash the shrimp well. Place the shrimp in a large baking dish. Melt the butter and add all the other ingredients except the shrimp. Pour the misture over the layered shrimp. Bake till shrimp is completely pink and done. Start checking at 15 minutes and then stir every 5 mins until done. serves 4

Note: Author likes to let the shrimp marinate in the sauce for about an hour. Also, if you are not fond of hot and spicy, leave out the tabasco.
