Cajun-Style Garbanzo Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tsp pepper, can be white pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt, optional

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 325.

2. Spread beans on sprayed baking sheet.

3. Combine all spices in a small bowl, while beans are moist, sprinkle w/spices.

4. Bake 45-55 min. or until brown & crisp, stir as needed.

Notes: These are good on a salad.
My notes: Think I just didn't cook these long enough - may try again - certainly very healthy!
