Cabbage Soup With Kielbasa

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 6 oz kielbasa, thinly sliced or cubed
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp marjoram
  • 1/8 ground pepper
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large carrot shredded
  • 1 tbsp cider Vinegar
  • 1 potatoe, shredded

Details

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in very large saucepan, ad onion saute 3-5 minutes
Add Kielbasa & garlic - saute 2 minutes
Add the water, bay leaf & spices
Bring to a boil reduce heat & simmer 15 minutes
Stir in cabbage, potatoe , carrot & vinegar, return to a boil
Reduce heat & simmer until vegetables are tender - 30 minutes
