French Toast Breakfast Casserole

This is a great French Toast breakfast casserole that you make the night before for a family breakfast. You can double the recipe for a big get-together.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sucanat
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp. light agave nectar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- dash nutmeg
- 1 loaf challah bread
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Grease 9x13 pan.
1. Combine first 5 ingredients and pour on the bottom of greased pan.
2. Slice challah bread into cubes. Place over syrup in prepared pan.
3. Beat almond milk, eggs, and vanilla until well mixed. Pour over bread.
4. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning, preheat oven to 325 degrees. Baked uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until a knife is inserted into french toast and comes out clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
