Ingredients

  • 30 Oreo cookies
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup veg oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Frosting (I like buttercream)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line 24 cupcake cups with liners. Count out 12 Oreos and split the cookies, trying to keep icing on both sides. Place the cookies, icing side up, in the liners and set aside. Crush the remaining cookies.

Place the cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs and vanilla in a mixing bowl and blend together. Measure out 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreos and fold into the batter. Spoon 1/3 cup of the batter into each cup and bake 18 - 20 minutes.

When cool, spread on the frosting and sprinkle on the rest of the crushed cookies.
