Apple Muffin Mix in a Jar

Dried apples make great chips, and in this case, they're great in a stow-away jarred muffin mix! Easy to throw together and pull out when you want to use it. Also a great gift idea!
Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup dried apple, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
In a jar, layer self-rising flour, then another layer granulated sugar, next layer brown sugar, then layer cinnamon and nutmeg, and last layer of dried apple and store in an airtight container.

Contents of jar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Turn jar contents into medium bowl and mix throughly. Add remaining ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
