Ingredients

    lbs. lean ground beef or turkey

  • 2

    large yellow onions - chopped

  • 3

    cloves garlic - chopped

  • 3

    cups water

  • 2

    cans (15 oz. each) tomato sauce

  • 2

    cans (14.5 oz. each) diced tomatoes

  • 3

    tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2

    tablespoons Italian seasoning

  • 3

    bay leaves

  • 2

    cups elbow macaroni - uncooked

Directions

In a 6 quart Dutch oven brown meat. Drain & reurn to pot. Add onions & garlic, cook until onions are tender. Stir in water & next 5 ingredients. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover & simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in macaroni. Cover, simmer for 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Discard bay leaves. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
