REVIEWS:

My family and friends that are chocolate addicts LOVE this cake. I make it for family gatherings and church functions. Everyone wants the recipe.

This cake is great.I love all the chocolate in this cake!!!!!

I have been making this cake for along time and I have a little four year old grand-daughter that loves this cake. In fact, she doesn't want a store bought cake for her birthday. She wants me to make this cake for her. Everytime I take this cake somewhere, everyone wants the recipe.

I made this cake for my Dad, a true choco-holic, and he loved it. It is so easy to make that I have already made it a second time.

I have this same recipe but the one I have is called Chocolate Lovers Cake. I love it. I make this all the time and get raves from the people I serve. Normally, those people are the people I work with, my friends, and my family.

I like this even better when I use a fudge cake mix, fudge pudding, and dark chocolate chips. I use espresso instead of the milk, and espresso for the water in the glaze. After the cake is glazed, I drizzle with a high quality caramel ice cream topping and chopped toasted pecans. It works well for cupcakes.

This cake was so easy to make and looked so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it, but I'm glad we did. it was so moist. I will make this again!!!

This is the best chocolate cake recipe ever. It is moist and extremely chocolatey and full of chunky nuts and chocolate chips. Everyone that I served it to asked for the recipe and loved it!!!

My family loves this recipe!! I make it at least once a month!

I originally made this cake for Mother's Day, and my mother LOVED it! I used dark fudge cake mix, chocolate fudge pudding, and very dark chocolate chunks. Didn't bother with the glaze. Took the rest to work, and they went nuts! I have made this cake several times since, with variations of german chocolate cake and devil's food cake mixes. Great cake for a church function as well.

Made this for my Mom's birthday and everyone couldn't say enough about it. Will make it again and again...

This is perfect for our Easter office party!!! I'm sure it'll be a hit!!!

This is a very easy to make, moist & delicious. Was quite a hit with husband, who is not a fan of cakes but agreed that this is definitely a keeper. Made 13 x 9 inch size & used chocolate lover's frosting.

FABULOUS!!!! This is hands-down one of the best cakes EVER! I served it with chocolate covered strawberries and vanilla ice cream- what a hit!
I have also made this in mini form. I used a mini bundt pan (fill each approx 3/4 full), and bake the mini cakes for 13-15 mins. Let them cool for 10 min. and turn them out, then cool the pan completely with cool water, dry the pan and bake again. It makes 28-30 mini cakes- perfect for bake sale, parties, you name it! One note....I had to make extra glaze (1.5 the ingredients for the glaze) in order to have enough. ENJOY!

The cake was very popular at bingo and with hubby. I did twist the glaze as when I made it following the directions it was a tad runny so I added 2 heaping spoons of powdered cocoa and that fixed the runniness and although no one knew what the glaze was supposed to taste like they all noted that the now icing was like candy, delicious.

This is a terrific recipe. I have made this cake a lot of times for different occasions and have never been disappointed at all.

Hits the spot! This cake turned out very well even though I didn't have all the correct ingredients. Since I didn't have chocolate pudding, I used vanilla instead. I also didn't have chocolate morsels, so I used a combination of chocolate mini morsels and chocolate chunks. I didn't glaze the cake because I thought it was rich enough without it. Next time, I will use the correct ingredients, but even without them, this cake is still a winner!
