Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 loaf pans.
2. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add flour and oil alternately. Add vanilla sugar and baking powder; mix until just combined.
3. Pour 1/4 of batter into each pan. Drizzle 2 tbsp. chocolate syrup over batter, Swirl with a knife. Sprinkle some chocolate chips. Divide rest of batter between pans, drizzle chocolate syrup, swirl, and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips.
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Sprinkle confectioners sugar on top. Cake freezes well.
