Mom's Best Macaroni Salad

I got this recipe from the internet when I needed a maracaroni salad. This is a good one. It is very rich and creamy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb.uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 carrots shredded
- 1/2 large red onion, chopped
- 1/4 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1/2 C chopped celery
- 1 C mayonnaise
- 1/2 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 C white sugar
- 1/4 white vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 min. Rinse under cold water and drain.
2. Stir together the carrots, red onion, green pepper, red pepper and celery. Mix in the mayonnaise, condensed milk, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the macaroni. toss gently, cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Best if made the day before serving in order for flavors to be absorbed and "jelled".
